Clive Culbertson is a successful singer songwriter who has had hit records as a solo artist or with his band The Sweat in Ireland, Germany and Japan. Clive has been working as an engineer and producer since his days at Emerald Recording Studios, engineering and / or producing many of the punk and powerpop bands that emerged from N. Ireland in the late 70’s. He engineered and produced the British top 20 single "When I Leave The World Behind" for local singer Rose Marie in 1980.
Clive was bass player in The Van Morrison Band for most of 1988 and played on all but one track of the hugely successful Avalon Sunset Album, including the hit single Have I Told You lately.
No Sweat Productions opened in 1986 and over the years the
studio has produced hits for many local bands and singers.
Clive masters the recordings done at No Sweat Studios and also masters albums for other local studios.
